 Heritage Candles was founded in 1991 as The Southern Candle Factory in our family dining room. Hand carved candles was our original specialty, but we soon branched out into other areas of candle making. We had caught the candle bug. In 1992 we began to concentrate on scented candles, and the business name was permanently changed to Heritage Candles. We began in 1992 by offering five fragrances in only one style of container. Our offering has expanded significantly over the years, and we now offer 40 fragrances in three styles of containers. In January 2000, we moved into a brand new 3500 square foot manufacturing facility in Stockbridge, Georgia. We are thankful to our many loyal customers for continuing to purchase our scented candles and allowing us to realize our dream. We sell scented candles at retail, wholesale, and at the request of our great customers have recently begun to offer our candles for fundraising. We also have extensive experience in craft shows, gift shows, and specialty retailing in malls (carts, kiosks, and temporary storefronts).
